MORNING VACKRA SJÄLAR! Välkommen till dag 19. Idag ska vi titta närmare på gående meditation. Huvudsyftet med gående meditation är att bygga upp koncentrationen, vilket ofta gör det lättare att sen sitta sitta i meditation men även att flytta över meditationen från kudden till vardagen.
I gående meditation har vi hela vår uppmärksamhet på fötternas förnimmelser istället för på hela kroppen (som vi haft i de föregående meditationerna i utmaningen). Gående meditation är fördelat på tre moment som upprepas under hela meditationstiden – gång, stopp och vändning.
Gör så här
- Börja med att hitta en rak stäcka på ett par meter som vi kommer gå fram och tillbaka på (Går vi exempelvis i en cirkel eller bara lite som vi känner för är det lätt att förlora oss i tankar och delar av sinnet planerar vilken väg vi ska gå istället för fullt fokus på fötterna). Jag älskar att gå utomhus på gräset om vädret tillåter. Lite lättare i Indien!
- Ställ timern på 15 min.
- Gång– Börja därefter gå och uppmärksamma förnimmelserna som uppstår i varje steg när fotsulan får kontakt med marken.
- Hitta en rytm som gör dig lugn. Farten brukar oftast återspegla sinnestillstånden dvs. vi tenderar att gå saktare när sinnet är lugnt och snabbare när vi är stressade.
- Stopp – När du närmar dig slutet av din valda sträcka ställer du dig helt stilla i några sekunder. Här hinner vi ofta notera om vi är närvarande eller någon annanstans.
- Vändning– Efter några sekunders stillastående stopp är det dags för vändning. En bra tumregel är att göra sen är det dags att vända och gör gärna med fyra rörelser och ett jämnt tempo. Börja flytta först ena foten i 90 grader, anslut därefter med den andra, upprepa sen detta ännu en gång för att tillslut stå vänd 180 grader. Stanna helt stilla några sekunder och fortsätt att gå tillbaka.
- Gå fram och tillbaka med full uppmärksamhet – med tiden kan du börja bli medveten om även de mer subtila förnimmelserna i steget (hur & när du lyfter upp fötterna) alltså utöver fotsulanskontakt med marken.
